Team members transfer question

Post by Raziel »

Hi,
I have a scenario for team member transfer ....

If Tom joined Team A and had 1000 points with 100 ppd.
What will happen if Tom leave Team A transfer to Team B ?

I think personal points follow Tom, still 1000 points no matter where he goes. (It is more fair I feel....)

The points that Tom generated for team A still belongs team A, 1000 point of team A will not lost even Tom left.

The point that Tom generates for Team B will start from 0 and team B add 100 ppd from the day Tom join.

Is that correct ?

Thank you :D

If you don't change your user name your points will always be there. If you move to a new team your points will start at zero for that team.

I think next similar question is about sub-teams (or teams merge).

If I am planing to make all Taiwan-based F@H teams merge to a single team as alliance, what should I consider and prepare in advance?

What will happen to original teams and members' scores?

Please kindly hint me if an FAQ is already there.
Thank you.

There is no provision for sub-teams, and there is no such thing as a team merge. Points for each team are accumulated separately.

Some donors have created artificial sub-teams by adjusting the user names and creating their own stats reporting system, but it's not something that the Stanford stats system does.

Hi, Bruce
It seems I need to create a new team and convince all members of current teams to join the new one then accumulate score from Zero. Is it correct ? :?

Thank you for the reply.

After couple weeks communication, I convinced top 2 F@H teams of Taiwan to give up their exsiting records then join Taiwan team to restart their contribution.

Now, 3 teams are merged as a one, covered 98% of PPD of all Taiwan teams. The new team has over 800k PPD and already moving up to top 100.

The recent objective will be over 1M PPD before Xmas and become one of top 10 team in coming years. :D
