GPU2 6.12 beta 6 for ATI

Naturally the new beta runs both ATI and nVidia, so this is for you guys too:

Take it easy on us tho, we'll be dealing with the onslaught of new nVidia users for a few days, but post away, I'll leave this one unlocked.

Known bugs:
It's a beta, and yes we meant that, not like Google but like software engineers - expect glitches and updates. The main thing is that the viewer will not work, as we're in the middle of changing how the live coordinates get to the viewer.

Yes I know. Sorry about the delay. As you can tell, the Foldin@Home guys have been a little busy and there are lots of changes in this update, so there was a little bit of a delay in getting updated DLLs out in the client. 8.6 should also check out and we should be better at catching driver interaction issues with the dlls shipping with the client in the future.

All seems to be working fine.
I deleted the CAL dlls from the Stream beta, so its using the ones that came with the client. Still running the Catalyst 8.6 Beta drivers though.

Unless you are gaming, not really.
The beta 8.6 were worth about 200 points in 3DMark06, no change for me in Age of Conan though.

Multi-GPU under Vista should be fixed, but not crossfire handling.

8.5 has many game fixes and performance improvements which is why people want to be running that. The 8.6 has more fixes and performance tweaks for games. The catalyst version makes little difference in folding at the moment since CAL is shipped with the client. When those DLLs change, there may be performance improvements.
