ParrLeyne wrote:Yes, each GPU client would exist in a separate disk folder. The core is saved in these folders.
vfolder wrote:This wasn't so much about where they cores are stored, more about different revision cores interacting on the CPU side. There must be some level of interaction, otherwise there would not have been any issue about different number of shaders or revisions of hardware.
chungenhung wrote:is there a update on core11?
I have GTX 295 with 9800GTX+. The 9800GTX uses core11, and was unable to fold.
friedrim wrote:The latest core is available at http://www.stanford.edu/~friedrim/FahCore_11.exe; the version id is v1.31. In addition to the changes mentioned in this thread, this core includes a fix that addresses problems people were having on multi-GPU systems with mismatched cards. It also includes updates to the checkpointing logic to prevent checkpoint files that are not removed from being reused on a different work unit.
Note from moderator: because of the checkpoint change, you'll want to replace FahCore_11 BETWEEN WUs since there is a high probabilty that you'll loose the work you've done on the current WU.
