[02:43:54] + Results successfully sent
[02:43:54] Thank you for your contribution to Folding@Home.

I got this project and completed it within the preferred time allocated but the results were not successfully sent until AFTER the deadline had passed....

Questions:

1. Why the delay in being able to send results?

2. Can anyone tell me how many points I actually received (if any!)?

Regards

Welcome to the foldingforum, 1Razor.

Once a WU passes the Preferred Deadline, it is assumed to be lost and is reissued. That means that the work must be completed by someone else. Scientifically speaking, duplicated work is wasted, even though you are awarded the baseline points up until the Final Deadline.

Hi 1Razor (team 35947),
Your WU (P2684 R6 C16 G7) was added to the stats database on 2010-07-03 20:09:11 for 8955 points of credit.
Days taken to complete WU: 4.07

Welcome to the F@H Forum 1Razor,

1) The WU Result file size is ~100 MB so time taken will vary depending on the upload speed.

2) If your results are submitted after the Preferred Deadline, then you will get Base Points which is 8955. However, an Admin/Mod will give you the exact details.

If you you want, please refer to my guide (link in sig) for more details.

Thank you gentlemen for your timely responses.

I'll have to keep a closer eye on my rigs and the electricity to prevent any fall behind. Wasn't so much of a problem with a2's but the timings are a little tighter on these a3's.

Regards
