Re: Change in BA requirements

Wow .. I'm not BANNED yet :D .... And while some of the scrooges around here begrudged the lack of response over the Holidays while most Universities all but shut down , I do not. Nor was there a lack of response. You just didn't get the answers you wanted. Waiting patiently ... - School closed for ...

Re: Change in BA requirements

... What Everyone cares about is having their donation of considerable time, investment and ongoing electricity donation recognized. :!: To date I see no recognition on the part of PG that this has again been horribly handled. ... They give you points to recognize your donation. What their points w...

Re: Change in BA requirements

I called for a time-out and for a while, I got one. Then what happened? No-one from PG said a word. Not one. I don't buy the "holiday" story. Scientific research isn't a 9-5. Really, Dr Pande can't stop by and say "I will be looking at this as soon as I return on the 2nd and I will a...

Re: Change in BA requirements

With 100k ACTIVE donors now, if 50K stop folding, PG would say: "Screw them, we still have 50k others. We rule because they run our program. They voluntarily run F@h, we didn't ask them to .. lol......" --- That's how I look that what 7im said.

Re: 130.237.232.237 going down for maintenance

There appears to be a problem with the server I have sent 6901 (13, 7, 150) 3 times this morning and the server never acknowledges it. I know it is sending by watching my bandwidth usage. After it completes the sending the assignment server never sends another 1 and the connection to the AS appears...

Re: Problems receiving work from 130.237.232.141

That's not true .. I didn't re-install .. just removed -bigadv tag and it works fine. It must be something to do with -bigadv.

Re: 171.64.65.106

Restart clients does NOT guarantee that you will get WU...... Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Standford should find a way to work around on this issue. It is big WASTE of resources for both (contributors and SF). I currently have 4 GPU clients waiting for WU. This issue has happened for la...

Re: Translation to other languages

There "used to be" translations (lots of them) when I first joined in July '07 However, when F@H site was redone, almost all of the translations have disappeared. I was wondering if Stanford/Pande were going to bring them back. It makes sense and will probably help the cause... as F@H now...
