Re: No appropriate work server was available

Adding -advmethods didn't work.

I am using the systray version. How do I change "big, normal, small" ?

Thanks for the help.

Re: No appropriate work server was available

I thought -advmethods was for SMP. Also, my configuration using the GUI allows wu greater than 10MB. Are you suggesting that I need to run -advmethods on CPU clients? I have had as many as 16 running at a given time and never had this problem before. EDIT: There are now 2 CPU classic clients with th...

Re: No appropriate work server was available

Add the -advmethods flag/setting and see if that helps. Sometimes if the failover settings aren't setup correctly, the assignment server won't roll over to other work users like it should. Were you replying to me or Pette? I am just running classic CPU client with -verbosity 9 flag and has been run...

Re: No appropriate work server was available

Just took a look at my other setup and the GPUs are getting new work fine for me. I will update the next time another CPU tries to get new work or if this one starts working again.

No appropriate work server was available

My CPU classic client is stopped and looking for a new wu. The log file looks like this when client was restarted. --- Opening Log file [February 20 19:43:51 UTC] # Windows CPU Systray Edition ################################################# #########################################################...

F@H Credit Went to Wrong Team

Can anybody help me with this? One of my clients had been running with the wrong team number and I only realized this after a few WU were already sent in. Can these points and WU be transferred to the correct team by someone? It is pretty obvious that I made a typing error if you look at the teams I...

Re: Quick Questions about my CPU Temps / GPU dummy plug

What kind of temps are your current gpu's running? Adding 2 more gpu's will generate a lot more heat in your case. Good air flow through your case is the key to keeping temps under control. The GPU Temps are (were) about 50C. I say were because one seemed to go on the fritz. Monitor started flicker...

Re: Quick Questions about my CPU Temps

Thank you. I wasn't running around trying to find an ice pack to put on it just yet since I had read somewhere about cores being able to handle spikes of around 100C. I just didn't want to get into trouble with the 24/7 running. I now feel more comfortable with trying to get more GPU clients running...

Quick Questions about my CPU Temps / GPU dummy plug

I'm new to F@H (3 days now). First of all, this is a great idea, using as much computing power as possible that is out there which would othwise go unused. As I do not want to get into SMP right now, I am currently running 4 CPU clients and 2 GPU clients (will try for 4 GPU soon). On my Core i5, the...
