By all means take all the time you need. I'm much happier with a complete and correct solution that takes some time than a 'we think it's working, oooops, guess not' rushed patch job.

I can verify with A-B comparisons on the last 4 data sets/flat files the system produced have been the identical data.

A possible potential as well may be a result of the open ended nature of letting people pick names as long and mostly complicated as they want. We got two hourly updates this time, the 2pm Eastern and 3pm Eastern, before it stopped again. I can verify that the 2pm Eastern update posted and was pulled by my system. We're looking good for EOC to be able to post their first new numbers on their 3pm Central update.

A single process on a single server having issues is not evidence of 'server infrastructure failing'. All this is is an hourly query against the existing database for the most recent set of numbers (Points total, Work Units total) for each entity (Donor or Team) that gets stuffed into a single file ...

So, a better title would be '3rd Party Stats not updating?' then as we're not allowed to tie into the API to pull our stats from.

I can verify from an external point of view that the flat files are indeed now downloading properly, also.

I'd like to say I'm joking, but the flat files stopped pulling again after todays 5pm Eastern update.

SteveWillis - Even if it's reported over a long weekend, nothing will get done until the campus IT team gets to the support ticket. There isn't a 24/7 support team available to my knowledge. We simply report what we find and settle in for the wait.

I got my last successful pull at 5pm Eastern, so that matches up with goodyca.

Twice isn't a firm pattern, but once again, my system stopped pulling stats after the 10pm Eastern update, so something appears to be happening to that server after the stats are pushed at 7pm Pacific.

I can verify that my system starting picking up stats again as of the 1pm Eastern update.

My stats system pulled a download at 7:20pm Eastern and is no longer throwing errors every time it checks the time stamp. I'm prepared to say it's at least back up enough to present to the outside world. The next two updates will tell me if there's reliable data flowing.

Just as an FYI - Saturday January 21st, 1pm EST, the Flat file appears to have stopped updating at that update.

The time stamp is being updated as that's how my system knows to pull the next hourly update, but data has frozen as of the 1pm update.
