Re: How to show read-only statistics to world?
HFM.NET (a 3rd party utility) is able to generate HTML reports and can also automatically upload them to a web server using FTP. HFM communicates with FahClient through its API, just like FahControl does.

Re: Returning to F@H
I get a small PPD increase on my GPU slots when pausing the CPU slot so it might be throttling it a bit. (approx 270K to 290K PPD on my Core 17 9201 project) My GPU temp is being held at 80C so I think that might also be limiting their performance some. FahCore_17 seems to rely on the CPU to a grea...

Re: Can i use Intel(R) HD Grapich Family for folding
I'm under the impression that OpenMM based FahCores require some double precision features. AFAIK, current Intel iGPUs have none: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/393241 I suppose Intel could emulate said features in their driver if they wanted to. However, as we've seen with core18, th...

Re: Pause/Resume gpu core 17 takes 2.5min with high CPU usag
*Caveat: I have no idea if FaH periodically challenges its various cores running to see if they're healthy; if you suspend its process, it obviously can't respond to any challenge... FaH might, possibly (speculation) decide the core has crashed and proceed to shut it down/restart it... *shrug* Who ...

Re: New to Folding already hate core 18
I sure wish PG can come up with a smooth transition when/if NV fixes their driver, as opposed to having the existing core18 version around "forever" causing donor anxiety. The way I see it, an upgraded core18 would have to detect the NV driver version, among other things, and make a runtim...

Re: Folding ONLY uses a specific GPU, regardless of setting.
Well if anyone else has a similar problem, be sure to check or uncheck which Graphics Processors can be allowed to use CUDA applications. I'm under the impression that NV OpenCL is actually implemented on top of CUDA. If so, when excluding certain GPU(s) from CUDA in the driver, you'll exclude them...

Re: Folding ONLY uses a specific GPU, regardless of setting.
Editing GPUs.txt is not a good idea / won't help. Try setting cuda-index/opencl-index manually for the GPU slot: viewtopic.php?p=199379#p199379

Re: New to folding! Hello!
Thank you very much jason403 for pointing this out to me!! Anyway, what do you all think about my most recent build for a folding build? I stand by my original recommendation, posted not too many days ago. :? viewtopic.php?f=16&t=26738&start=60#p268746 Start cheap, pay your dues, get your b...

There are also no-nonsense "beta" tarballs available for FahClient only, even though the download isn't advertised on the main site.
https://fah-web.stanford.edu/projects/F ... llReleases
Arguably easier than extracting the FAHClient binaries from the package.

...I have made updates to my build of choice based on your suggestions. Here is my new hardware: Case: Fractal Design ARC MINI R2 (I still really love this case and all it offers at it's size) *$100 Power Supply: Rosewill Tachyon 550 (I agree with you and really like the idea of an 80 plus platinum...

Re: New to folding! Hello!
I've been playing around with the idea of building an entire machine that does nothing but sit in the back room of my apartment and fold 24/7. I may save up money over the next several months and do that. However, when it comes to choosing components for a folding only build, what would I look for ...

Re: New to folding! Hello!
I've also been developing a slight fear that running my components at full load 24/7 will eventually lead to something breaking faster than it would have otherwise. Will running everything full load 24/7 significantly decrease the life of any of my hardware? Most likely, yes. But the (hypothetical)...

Re: New to folding! Hello!
Stanford's stat server gets updated on every hour, 3rd party stats like EOC and Kakao are updated every 3 hours, so there is a little bit of lag with the crediting. In the past, the Stanford stats server has been down occasionally, so sometimes the stats update can be further delayed. Not to worry t...
