I have a box with an MSI 780 Lightening & a Gigabyte water cooled 1080.
FaH shows the 780 as a 1080 & folds as a 780, same speeds I got before the 1080. The 1080 is labelled as a 780 and folds at 1080 speeds. HAven't tried to force assignment in the FaH Control Advanced.

Also you can run an app from MS that marks downloads as bad and won't try to redownload and install them.
