Re: Can I use 2 different GPUs at once?
Hi and welcome to the forum. Yes you can. This should also be automatic. When you download the F@h software, it should automatically detect and configure both cards for you automatically. I'm currently using a GTX 970 and a 1080TI in the same system. They can fold right along with the CPU, no proble...

Re: FaH client doesn't start when booting or logging in.
The installer prompts for admin rights and installs the software to the admin profile. If there are two different accounts on the Windows PC, it will put the desktop links and such into the admin's account, not the lower-level account. This seems related to the discussions in this thread: viewtopic....

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Can you open FAHControl? You should be able to then pause the software and further configure it so that it runs when you're away.

Re: Help: Unable to Modify Team
Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I'm attempting to modify my team and get confirmation from the page that it was successful. However, when I search for the team by the number(32035)it shows the old team info, not what I attempted to modify it to. Any help on this would be appreciated! Tx The st...

Re: Having trouble in first use
We got it working after a manual install. Are there any guides to mass installing on multiple Windows nodes? Not that I'm aware of. I will point out that you can manage many computers remotely using the FAHControl tool, which is accessible using the Advanced Control option as mentioned above. On ea...

Re: My CPU processes almost zero WU anymore
Hey Bill, I suspect that everything is just fine on your end. Those error messages, particularly the "failed to get assignment" and HTTP_SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE, are all caused by huge demand on the servers at the moment due to the massive rise in F@h's userbase over the past several weeks. I'...

Re: List of current projects?
A link is in the forum header - Project Summary., or https://apps.foldingathome.org/psummary. Some of the newest ones may not have a description yet, the researchers need to go back and add those. Thanks! How about a place to see the pipeline of WUs? New projects are announced here: viewforum.php?f...

Hi and welcome to the forum!
FAHControl is just the front-end. You need to install FAHClient. The installation instructions are here: https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/i ... des/linux/
Let us know if you need help with a step and we can walk you through it.

Re: GPU is not folding; open CL not detected
Okay, I see two main errors in the log. "No WUs available for this configuration" is simply due to the load on the server; there are so many new users on F@h now that the demand for workunits sometimes exceeds the supply. The other error is "Failed to start core: OpenCL device matchin...

Re: Passkey and points
Thanks. When I initially entered the passkey it showed my in-client points total go from 800,000 to 0. Perhaps i'll see if that corrects itself over time. I haven't done folding in about 10 years. The in-client points are just an estimation. It should correct itself with the next workunit. The serv...

Re: Passkey and points
Nope, the points should go under the same username and team number that you had before. Those won't reset or go away. The points never reset or go down.
