I agree with @MeeLee, you would need a sort of mining rig setup if you aim for more GPUs then 2, unless they are single slot Quadros.
@hrsetrdr : you do that kind of PPD with just 2 Xeons?

Re: Questions about multi gpu setup
I can confirm that the 1060 is fast enough to fold and drive the display in the same time with minimal lag. Using Win10 with the 373.06 driver.

Re: B85M-E/CSM for 2 GPUs?
Yes you could, I am using a H57M USB3 that has a similar configuration with a GTX 1060 3GB and a 280X and they work just fine.

Re: Nvidia Pascal GPU cards???
If anyone is curious about the results of a GTX 1060 3GB you can track my stats, I currently fold exclusively with it. You can track my stats here http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/search.php Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB mini ITXOC (MSI afterburner shows the card doing 1873 MHz all the time) i7-860 (n...

Re: Nvidia Pascal GPU cards???
Do we have any hard numbers from the gtx 1050ti and 1050 cards? Probably some very good efficient folders on mobo power alone.

Re: Core_21 traffic query
I have a question on the same subject : how much is in general the size of a core 18 or 21 WU? I think I have seen in a log something like 14.5 MB for the download of a Core 18 WU but how much is the upload? I am not on a slow connection but on one tethering from cellphone and I would like to get an...

Yes, but that is because you cannot predict the value of QRB. Can you please add the rx series of the list?

That is good news then. BTW how much ppd is a 380 giving? Is it comparable with 280x, in the 135k range?

Re: New Machine Cheap?
Even a no name 300w psu should be OK for a 750ti especially if it is just a bus powered one. Good for 60k PPD. It will need one cpu core for assistance from cpu, as mentioned previously, so the system must be at least dual core. The AMD GPUs do not need CPU assistance this is why you would see a min...

The Pascal cards, do they get older core WUs like the infamous 762x or is it smooth sailing only with Core 21 WUs ?

Re: P4@2.8 plus GTX960/ATI380, will it fold?
A gtx 960 is good for 135-160k ppd and open mentioned that 16x port is available so where is the disagreement stemming from? Short answer is, it will work but only with Nvidia as AMD cards don't fold under Linux.
