Re: Faling to send results to server (active host disconnect

Currently 69.94.66.7 is down as shown on the Server Status page, link at the top of the forum. That has already been reported - viewtopic.php?f=18&t=36348. For the second issue, currently there are more systems requesting types of WUs at times than there are available. This is due to a number o...

Faling to send results to server (active host disconnects)

Hello, from time to time, FAH can't upload the results to a server. Log says "Failed to send results to work server: Failed to connect to 69.94.66.7:80: Kan geen verbinding maken omdat de doelcomputer de verbinding actief heeft geweigerd." As a result, status remains at "send" fo...

Re: Managing CPU threads

Um, hijack is the exactly right word. Your post to a closed thread had nothing to do with the existing thread, which confused the volunteers trying to help you. Had you wisely made a thread with title about the problem you were having, it would have been much shorter and more pleasant. It is sad yo...

Re: Managing CPU threads

All the help gets better when the title matches the problem, all the help gets frustrated when the title has nothing to do with the problem. And sometimes it takes just a little effort to look simply beyond the title....♥ Or a bit of effort on your part to post on topic, not hijack a post totally u...

Re: Getting fahcore 22 projects - crashing my 1080ti

Pity adjusting the slide is only light-medium-full and nothing in between. As has been said before, the choices available to the slider are limited, but if you use FAHClient, you open up many more choices. No need to get annoyed (=judging by your first 5 choice of words). But could you care to elab...

Have set folding power to lowest (light). Works for me too, with decent temps. Pity adjusting the slide is only light-medium-full and nothing in between. Patience, patience ;)

Re: Getting fahcore 22 projects - crashing my 1080ti

This has nothing to to with the original problem : you're using core A7 on your CPU, not core 22 on the GPU. You don't even have a usable GPU in your configuration. A7 core is using AVX instructions in your CPU and it is known to generate more heat than the SSE2 instructions used by older A4 core. ...

Managing CPU threads

Note from Mod: This topic was previously attached to a discussion of another subject. I've split it into a new topic. I have not so much as a immediate problem, but I do have some concern: since fahcore22, there's after 5 minutes the pc has be turned on, a sudden increase in temperature to almost t...

Failed to access core package.

Hello, Since a few days, Fah won't fold any more. The logs says "Failed to access core package". I saw some topics on this issue, and of the solutions was to delete map "00" in the work directory. I did this twice and it didn't work. What more can I do? I removed and reinstalled ...

Re: PC freezes after installing new video card

Hi,
Thanks for reply. The client is running with two uniprocessor cores. I'll take your last sentence under consideration.

Again,

thanks for the input.
