Re: Project: 2673 (Run 1, Clone 27, Gen 21)

Hi kasson,

I'm using the 6.02 client at this time, as it is meant to be the final release client for linux. I'll look into the feasibility of upgrading to the new client.

Cheers.

Project: 2673 (Run 1, Clone 27, Gen 21)

Hi, Having a few problems running this work unit. Initially downloaded on the 15th and have failed to progress past 89% even after the client reloaded a new A2 core. With a client core communications error I would normally put it down to network issues, but constant failure at 89% seems to much of a...

It may still be floating around at the moment as I got it this morning, although it could possibly be just due to timezone variations. :) AMD 64 4000 stock 1Gb RAM 2 x 8800GS Windows XP [19:38:41] Folding@home Core Shutdown: UNSTABLE_MACHINE [19:38:44] CoreStatus = 7A (122) [19:37:53] + Attempting t...

Thanks for the heads up, toTOW. :)

It isn't to much of a problem now with the much improved error handling in the latest clients.

Hi, Just got an EUE on this project number without it even apparently starting. I am still running Version 1.09, but this is the first EUE that I have noted on this computer. Specs are Windows XP SP3 C2D e2160 @ stock 1024Mb RAM P965 DS3 running two 8800GS GPU Clients. [12:01:03] + Attempting to sen...

Project 2669 - Points Imbalance?

I was just wondering why the points for these work units were so high? I currently have three stock q6600 computers folding these units using the notfred CD and they appear to be returning about 4400ppd. Perhaps they could do with another benchmark run as it does appear a bit excessive even taking i...

Re: Project 2665 (Run 0, Clone 106, Gen 6)

Thanks for the suggestion Mobius0412. I monitor my folders at least twice a day, but will definitely be keeping a closer eye on that box. As kasson suggested though, it may purely have been a particularly finicky WU as that PC has successfully completed a 3064 and has just finished a different 2665....

Re: Multiple failures at the same point - UNKNOWN, 0x0 or 0x1.

When ever you have the same WU fail multiple times at the same point with UNKNOWN error, 0x0, 0x1 or something else than EUE then you should back up the WU data by stopping it just a bit before when it will error out and try to run it on some other computer. You can post it for someone else to test...
