Re: Project: 5742 (Run 1, Clone 42, Gen 619)

Killed one of my GPU clients here in exactly the same way. 5 attempts at it gave identical errors as illustrated below then it disabled the client for 24hrs. Re: Some info that really puts things into perspective

Today, in 24 hours of non-stop running, Dual-GPU GeForce GTX 295's are capable of running a protein folding simulation at 1400 nanoseconds, or 1.4 milliseconds. That means that unfortunately, we need 714 GTX295's to simulate a single second of protein folding. 1400 nanoseconds is 1.4 MICROseconds. ...

Re: Project: 5744 (Run 0, Clone 34, Gen 351)

Besides, once a "SuperModerator" responds without asking for a repost or move, I can only assume the info will be passed to the proper people. This broken WU is still alive and kicking over a month later. It just disabled one of my GPU clients for 24 hours :(. EDIT: Just got this thing ba...

Project: 5745 (Run 2, Clone 34, Gen 337)

5 times in a row got a "SHAKE violations on GPU" error precisely 3sec after the GUI server started up. (Some say this can be caused by overheating. The 4890's fan is set to 100% and temperatures don't seem to rise above 66C.) After restarting the client, it started right into another WU fr...

Re: Server 171.64.65.102

Server Stats link (see top of this page) shows this server in Reject mode. The other ATI GPU server 171.64.65.103 is accepting but looks to be low on WU's. You'll just have to wait it out I guess like the rest of us...

Repeated problems with WU download from 171.65.103.162

5 times since July 8 I've seen downloads of new WU's from this server hang for up to 9 hours requiring a CPU client restart. The information on this problem was originally posted as a client question here: http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=10630&p=104489#p104489 . Prior to this we...

Project 2499: Run 191, Clone 3, Gen 1

Many reproducible failures with this WU. At last count, this WU has aborted on error 0x77 (UNKNOWN_ERROR) 6 times in a row at 20 minutes past the 7% completion mark each time. Re: ATI GPU: No appropriate work server was available

Are 171.64.65.102 and 171.64.65.103 the only ATI GPU work servers? We're back in the same boat we were earlier with 102 in REJECT and 103 critically low on work. One GPU here idled for 1.5hrs and another about to be...
