If my 2 full time 460's dropped to 10k each I'd quit folding with them, my 260 does 8k and I only use that and a few others during contests.

That seems to be about a 25% drop for the GTX 460's at lower clock rates also over the normal average.
My 460 is cranked up higher.

I have been getting 7624 & 25 wu's and have noticed a 4-5k ppd drop from my usual average.
Some others have reported the same with 7623.
While the drop may not seem like a lot it is about a 25% drop for me on that card.
Anyone else notice this yet?

wow. As I read, worst is my understanding, but no matter about. I've delivered 222 WUs, 20% is 44,4%, what means, at least 178 WU succesfully delivered. Well, I'am trusth that I delivered more than this, but, I'm also trusth that on the last week, there were less than 20% of succesfull ones. So.......

How wide spread of a problem do you think this is?
Do you have actual proof this is being done or are you guessing.
Personally I don't care because the work is still getting done and I fold on a team that doesn't pay members for folding.

I see people asking so what is the problem.. Well This may be messing with the projects priorities, or maybe that is no problem. Where I do see a problem is it results in a heavier load of 'undesirable' workunits going to people who do not use this (let us be generous) work around. Still no problem...

Since it wasn't labeled "Rules" I never bothered to read that and I am sure many others haven't either. Maybe, but at least to me, "Rules" has a negative connotation about it. "Best Practices" seems a better phrasing IMO. Most people shouldn't have a need to check the ...

I also don't see how it can be cheating when I don't see a list of rules anywhere.

A Pentium D at 2.8 will not make 1k ppd, I have 2 of them and it is closer to 800 IIRC.
I have a Core 2 Duo E6600 at 2.4Ghz it gets 1.5-2k ppd depending on WU's and how much web surfing I do..

I get more total points running the 260 than I do by SMP alone.
I drop about 1.5k ppd from the cpu but get 8k from the 260 so basically I'm gaining about 6.5k ppd.
With a GTX 560 I don't see a drop in SMP ppd.

I have a GTX 260 C216 with a Phenom II.
My ppd for SMP drops near the same amount when using the 260.
My 260 gets about 8k ppd in case you need a reference.
Also lag is bad when running the 260, but it is a folding comp so it doesn't matter.
