projects you've contributed to

It'd be good if you could see the list of projects (project number with a link to project description) to which you've contributed over time, on your stats page. The FAH control shows the current work unit's project, but that information gets lost when the work unit changes.

FAH achievements page outdated

The FAH achievements page at https://foldingathome.org/category/fah-achievements/ hasn't been updated since 2015. Maybe update it? When I saw this I wondered if the project is still alive, or if I should install BOINC instead.

time display format

The time display format used by the client is unclear. If it says "Timeout: 2013-08-02T03:53:24Z" while System Info says "UTC Offset -4", does it mean the timeout in local time is 2013-08-02 07:53:24 or 2013-08-01T23:53:24 ? It would be best to show times using the local time, as...

Re: CPU temperature

Isn't there an option to specify what % of a CPU FAH should use?

Re: CPU temperature

Thanks! Re: OS types, if this worked for just one OS it'd be a big help. E.g. for Windows, integrating with a 3rd-party app like http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/ (if they agree to provide an API or a file output of current temp) might be an option. Of course, the real solution is to get a laptop...

CPU temperature

Is it possible to set FAH to pause if the CPU temperature rises above a given level? There are utilities that show CPU temperature, e.g. RealTemp, so it can be read on at least some machines. If not currently possible, please take this as an enhancement request. Thanks!

Re: restrict time-of-day when fah runs

Thanks for all the suggestions!
It would still be useful if this was a simple setting in FAHControl, but looks like that request is already in the database.

restrict time-of-day when fah runs

Is it possible to configure the FAH client so that it only runs during certain hours, and is idle the rest of the time? Thanks!

Re: info on project results

Welcome to the forum, argonaut. Not sure about signing up for an email notification about publications, but I wouldn't be too hopeful about that. As for keeping track of projects/WUs, you can do that on your own by monitoring the client(s) with HFM , for example. It's not 100% foolproof (you must r...

info on project results

Is it possible to sign up to receive email when a project to which you've donated results in a publication?
Also, to get a list of all the projects you've donated to.
If not, please take these as enhancement suggestions.
Thanks!
