Well, so much for that. My computer got hung overnight. K4200 is disabled again, just to let the rest of the computer work. Not expecting much from Nvidia wrt this issue.

Curious thing: I checked Nvidia's website and they had a new driver available. One of the issues fixed was a deadlocked renderer attempting multiple small commands (paraphrasing here). My K4200 was enabled by the new driver, so I will let it be and see what happens.

True. It still works to support a monitor, and I might hang on to it just in case a friend needs a replacement. I have contacted Nvidia again to see if they can make sense of it.

Well, that was short-lived. Even running a lot cooler, the K4200 started to freeze the system again, after a day and a half. It does not seem to work on Quadro cards. But my computer ran overnight with FAH on Full setting, so I am happy with that.

I had installed the latest driver straight from Nokia. I heard back from them, and all the data I sent them showed normal operation of both cards. My next step is to disable one of them to see if that helps.
