Re: CPU FAH core with AVX support? Mentioned a while back?
Just saw that big packet... 0,5 day ETA. I use no VM's. Engineering sample. I naively thought AVX2 should give ~+40% more data processing speed over the AVX Thank you for answers.

Re: CPU requirement for GPU folding (NV)
Till Nov, 27 I expect second GPU, the Palit SJS 1080Ti which will be available for me. So I meant single GPU configuration. No heat related issues for last few months. 12c24t means HT=on of course 'cause CPU tasks are not doing really great without it. CPU model is 2658 as a seller wrote but I canno...

Re: CPU requirement for GPU folding (NV)
I have 1xXeon E5 V3 ES 12c24t @ 2.4GHz busy with GRO_A7, it allows GTX1070 @ 2.1GHz with p9431 folding load up to 82% while up to 85% without any heavy CPU occupation Barely saw 94** WUs giving 710-752kPPD in 4c8t @ 2.6 GHz variant. P.S. Gigabyte UD4 MoBo, PCI-E 3.0 x16 no other cards are plugged in...

Re: GPU CPU bound?
Well actually I was searching the CPU requirement for GPU folding (NV) topic but I guess it's allowed to write here. I run folding on Windows 8.1 use Single GPU GTX1070@2100MHZ chip & 9000MHZ memory clocks. Driver 372.54. So my observation is when running FAHCoreA4/A7 (CPU) make GPU fold a bit s...

Re: MB
Giga-Byte X99 UD4 - supports up to 4 PCIE3.0-compatible devices, excluding risers (USB3, M2, etc). Also 40 lanes soc. LGA2011-3 CPU'S are supported.
My choice, but not the best one, there are known issues with this MB. But I got my luck with this upgrade:)

Re: Cannot Upload [WS 128.252.203.4]
It took 3 minutes and 55 seconds to transfer 16.69MiB (PRCG13800 0-121-139) from me to the server. 8080 port was in use.

Re: p9194 not liked by 171.64.65.92
Thank you for the answers! Yep, overclock was possibly the cause of failure. Or other graphics card related activity. Some WUs complete ok with clock above 1000MHz, other ones turn faulty at 901MHZ. Btw this job is marked by HFM.net as FINISHED_UNIT with full (base+QRB) credit AFAIR form old logs a ...

If this is really working then on Windows the cmd looks like this: netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="FahClient workaround" dir=in interface=any action=block remoteip=171.67.108.105 To remove again: netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name="FahClient workaround" 19:33:...

Re: GPU fail Folding
There were some WUs on my experience that fail to further processing on AMD GCN GPUs if any OC was done. Including factory one. I'm talking mostly about Asus R9 290X DC2OC
Other group of WUs used to be good even if 15 or more percent GPU frequency increase
