Re: WARNING Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers (for xx<48)

I started a work unit on my GTX 1060 with 376.48, TPF was 2:11. Just installed 378.49 and now the TPF averages 2:10 to 2:12. Seems on par to me. I'm keeping it.

Re: WARNING Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers (for xx<48)

Driver 376.48 has been working great for me 24x7 since 1/5/17 on my ASUS Strix GTX 1060. This was a new video card install, upgraded from an aging AMD, and I thought I'd download the latest video driver. But after seeing my graphics crash in GPU TweakII and FAH instantly crashed, I decided to do som...

No, not yet. I've been folding on and off since October like that.
Core 980->1040 & Memory 1300->1396. Now it's at 1033/1391.

Re: GPU load 100%, but no heat.

When a GPU seems loaded but progresses slowly, it is usually the sign that drivers have reset, and that it didn't got well. UI slowdowns often appear after such reset. If you look at your System Event log, you'll probably find some entries about a driver reset ... Hmm, no driver reset logs in the E...

Re: GPU load 100%, but no heat.

Did you check the clock speeds? It could have fallen to 2d clocks. No, it's too late now to check since I've rebooted. But I'll keep that in mind if it happens again and try to pay attention to the current core and memory speeds. I have been running on a little overclock of the GPU and memory. I ju...

Re: GPU load 100%, but no heat.

Some projects are indeed less demanding to the hardware and draw less power/creating less heat. Can you share a bit more information ? What GPU for example ... maybe a cut&paste from your log file ? I just got another GPU project, the ETA is 7 days! Still no heat. The GPU PPD is 4974. My comput...

GPU load 100%, but no heat.

Is this normal? I got a project from yesterday, core 0x17 project 10468. The ETA was 1.5 days. I run GPU-Z and it shows my GPU is at 100%. I'm drawing about 100 Watts less of power than usual. My video card heat pipe is cold (40c afterburner reading). I got 5 hours left now. Is this normal? I always...

Re: Where can I see that CPU and GPU is working?

Hello I'm really new at Folding@home. It works very well, but where can I see that the FAH client software uses my CPU and my GPU as well? I've a quite new Radeon X390 and want to know if its performance is beeing used...? Great project! Kind regards, Roman (Donor: Roman_Kuechler) Download a progra...
