Re: Warning size of positions does not match topology

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your quick reply. I'm glad it's nothing I need to worry about. That's good to know. I've followed your instructions and I'm not getting the warning any more. Thanks again.

Warning size of positions does not match topology

Hi there,

I'm getting the following warning in my log every 4 or 5 minutes: "06:25:36:WARNING:FS01:Size of positions 286 does not match topology 16". I was wondering if anyone knew what it was? Is it something I should be worried about? If so, does anyone know what I should do?

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and Folding@Home

Hi everyone, I've had a quick look around and installing Android on a Raspberry Pi seems quite feasible. This is especially true in more recent times. Android OS There are some images around for the Android OS. I'm not sure if I'm technically allowed to provide these links but here it is (see https:...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and Folding@Home

Hi guys, Thanks for your thorough replies. I have to admit it is probably beyond my own expertise to get it working, if it is possible. I have heard of people installing the Android operating system on a Raspberry Pi and running tasks for some of the projects within the World Community Grid project ...

Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and Folding@Home

Hi there,
I am considering whether or not I could use a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ with Folding@Home. Raspbian is the official operating system (it's Debian-based). I was curious, can I install the Linux Folding@Home client on a Raspberry Pi 3? Has anyone else tried this before?
Kindest regards,
Chris

Re: Optimised for folding: GPUs and CPU threads

Thanks for the guidance davidcoton and toTOW. You've helped clear things up for me. I'll try it with one or two CPU threads free.

Optimised for folding: GPUs and CPU threads

Hi fellow folders, I have two GPUs that I’m currently using for Folding@Home and I’m wondering if it is best to keep 2 CPU threads free? That is, one thread for each of the GPUs? Geforce GT 610 (FahCore x15 only) Geforce GTX 750 Ti (FahCore x18 at the moment, it depends) I have Folding@Home using bo...

Re: What to fold with only one of two GPUs

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for you all for the quick responses. I'm happy to report that setting a slot option "pause-on-start" to "true" for the GT 610 worked perfectly. Also, it seems I won't need the 'dummy plug'. Thanks again for your help :).

Re: What to fold with only one of two GPUs

I should also add to the above description that I am only running the one monitor (from the Geforce GT 610 graphics card) while the Geforce GTX 750 Ti card doesn't have a monitor attached. I read in a few places (including from memory on the Folding@home website) that with Windows 7 this may be an i...

What to fold with only one of two GPUs

Hello fellow Folding@home users :), This is my first post on the Folding@home support forum. I'm still relatively new (less than one year) to Folding@home. I have two GPUs and I want Folding@home to just use one of them. Under Configure > Slots > I have removed the additional GPU and the CPU, I only...
