I am having the same issue on Ubuntu 16.04 using the radeon driver for a 7950 and 270(x?) GPU, Hawaii and Tahiti. They say, ready, switch to running, then back to ready, and failed after a few attempts. Looking at output from FAHclient this seems to be the issue: 15:42:52:WU03:FS02:0x21:Folding@home...
