Minimum hardwre requirement

Hi: I have been reading through the forums looking to see if anything has been dealt with regarding this topic. Is there a minimum CPU and GPU requirement that will run Folding@Home software? I have a dated Alienware laptop which has an Intel i7-3740QM CPU and a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660M GPU. Folding@...

Page displaying % project completion

Hi:

Is there a page displaying the % completion of each Folding@home project?

At least for me, this information will let me know that my efforts are making a difference.

It would be nice if this information was displayed on the home page of Folding@home.

Re: Promoting this website to gramers

I have another idea of how F@H could be expanded. I know that large companies like Microsoft and Google run large 24/7 data centers. Also as I used to work as an I.T. tech at a Canadian university, I am aware that some university departments run their PCs 24/7. What about approaching these universit...

Re: Promoting this website to gramers

How about running a contest whereby a high end video card and/or games would be awarded as prizes based on either points earned or length of time as a participating member.

Promoting this website to gramers

Has Folding@Home ever been promoted to the gaming community?

I am thinking that with their high end CPU and GPUs, the gaming community would through their PCs advance the objectives of solving some of issues of protein mutations.

I am doing my part.

Time line for Project 9019

Hi:

Is there a time frame as to when project 9019 will be nearing completion? Unlike the BONIC projects on the World Community Grid, the projects on Folding@home lack estimated completion dates.

Re: Promoting Folding@home on a few gaming sites

Hi:

Thanks for responding. They need to think outside the box. My aim is not to just advertise this website but also to attract more donors along with their high end GPUs.

Promoting Folding@home on a few gaming sites

Hi: I currently am donating CPU time to the World Community Grid but as they do not have a project that uses the GPU, I can do this here. I am also here for a personal reason as I loss a loving relative to Alzheimer Disease. I joined this site in March and I am wondering if powers that be here have ...
