After running search of my c: drive and registry to remove every trace of folding@home that survived the unintall & reboot, I installed 7.9.13beta and it found my GPU successfully.

I've tried the 7.6.13 beta and that doesn't see my GPU either.
I'm going to try a complete uninstall and see if I can make sure there are no folders or files left behind and then try again.

I'm having the same issue, but even after several reboots I've had no luck. Is there a way of manually downloading the GPUs.txt file?

The "disable quicksync decoding" box is already unchecked - that's the default setting for Handbrake v1.0.7
I use x265 for encoding because quicksync gives noticeably poorer quality output.

As far as I can tell, Handbrake does not support openCL or CUDA.
I can't find any mention of CUDA support in the documentation, and openCLis only available as an experimental option for scaling - I'm not using it.

I'm willing to have a look and see what I can find out. I run four monitors, three 1080p monitors off my GTX980Ti and one 900p off my iGPU.
