The Folding@Home client is reading "Disabled" when I try to add a slot for this GPU. Is it no longer supported? Ah, scratch the above, I needed to do a restart after a driver install. While I'm here, would a PCI Express 2.0 slot limit thefolding performance of the GTX 680, a PCIe 3.0 card?

Interesting. All of the PCs I'm folding on are running on integrated graphics with the exception of one, but all of these have open PCI Express slots. If I ever get enough PayPal money to throw around I might pick up a few of those mining cards to toss into those PCs just for folding.

Is there a comprehensive list of compatible GPUs? I'm willing to browse some secondhand listings on eBay if I can give some of my old computers a bit of a boost.

While I'm here, does anyone know of any similar distributed computing projects I can put the GPU towards? No sense letting it go to waste.

Well dang, I was afraid of that. I have an even older NVidia GPU that's likely not compatible either. I'll just go ahead and remove those slots and let the CPU do its thing.
