Today it's better, loading with minimal delays.

Re: Super slow downloads from 129.32.209.200:8080

Apparently this server is completely broken, the loading time has increased to 30 minutes. 17:46:20:WU01:FS00:Connecting to assign1.foldingathome.org:80 17:46:20:WU00:FS00:0x23:Checkpoint completed at step 1225000 17:46:21:WU01:FS00:Assigned to work server 129.32.209.200 17:46:21:WU01:FS00:Requestin...

Yes, I have a similar problem. It takes up to 10 minutes to load a working unit from this server.

Re: client offline time or calculation time window ?

I think you're exaggerating. This is an open source project (like similar ones based on the BOINC platform), the results are also published in the public domain.

Re: No work assigments...

What about Project 12233? It should be hitting beta testers soon ... watch for the official announcement. Thanks for the information. Tested it. For a project with a number of atoms of 263 487, the PPD is below average (for example, on a project 18725 with a number of atoms more than three times sm...

Re: No work assigments...

Not looking to ruffle any feathers, but rather to get some actions for issues that will go on unnoticed unless someone speaks up. Sandy It's just a joke. I understand your concern, but in the absence of information, much can be assumed, of course it is better that we are told the reasons. But in fa...

Re: No work assigments...

Oh, and as the first line of the post said, those were estimated PPD, not a specific currently running WU. I gave an example of an average PPD of project 18725, and not a specific working unit, but for some reason I was pointed out to receive a small amount of points, which is not true. For monitor...

Re: No work assigments...

I read the M as Millions not thousands, I'm thinking electronics when I see m - 1,000,000 and k as 1,000. At the address you indicated, not PPD, but the number of points received and there is no hint of the abbreviations M, K, unit of measurement 1. To calculate the PPD, use - http://www.linuxforge...

I think they are true. For example, the last entry with 1,115,600 points on project 18725.

Re: No work assigments...

Calculated PPD (easiest to report) of four cards running 18725 right now: 4090: 16.4M (that one, xx424 IIRC, does 24M) 4080: 13.3M 4070Ti: 8.6M 3090: 7.7M It would be more correct to add at what power limit and GPU frequency these results were obtained. For example, in project 18725, my 4090s at a ...

Re: No work assigments...

There is actually a lot more work to be done. Now there are few large-scale projects. Servers cannot generate a large number of Work Unit Genes, because the number of clones most often does not exceed 500. If they decide to assign smaller working units for powerful GPUs, then we will get a reduced P...
