Re: 30,000 volunteers to test vaccine. [URL]
...but even that's questionable since the actual testing has a success rate of only 50%. As I understand it, the success rate is much higher but it depends when and where the test was taken. There's a podcast (unfortunately German only) from Dr. Drosten, who was part of the team that came up with t...

Re: Project 13413
My GPU just completed WU 0x0000000012bc7d9a5ee9acd50f164299 (r/c/g: 342/14/0) for this project. No complaints, but the points assigned seems a bit generous, the ppd rate is about 25% above my usual maximum. I don't think it's done a successful unit that fast before. Also, should the project cause b...

Re: Lower PPD with several projects
Maybe I got the word 'throttled' translated wrong and we are not at the same page? My 65W means - my system has nothing to do. CPU --> 0%, GPU --> 0%. Ah okay that makes sense, this value is ~100W for mine. By throttled I mean "reduced power", as in limiting both CPU and GPU to get more &...

Re: Lower PPD with several projects
Agreed, I locked my CPU to 3800 and could take it down by 0.3V (to 1.05V) with no issues ever. PPD vary, depending on project, between 210k and 350k. @Ichbin3 I find 65W at the socket for Ryzen 2600 and 2080 super impossible... you almost have a perpetuum mobile there... I think there's a digit miss...

Re: Please fix the completely broken stats page!
If you're in a team that's "trending", i.e. climbing up the ranks quickly, you'll get there sooner.
My team showed up when we crossed team rank ~1400, with <160M team points.
Details of what decides when a team gets added are unknown to me.

Re: Please fix the completely broken stats page!
I don't know exactly, but there are 12.000 teams listed: https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com ... p?s=&p=120 You can get there with a bit over 5M. For a team, that should be attainable. For users, the number exceeds 1.600.000: https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com ... ?s=&p=7917 with t...

Are you using any anti-malware software, virus scanner, ... that might interfer? The log lines state 01:39:57:WARNING:FS01:Killing WU00 01:39:57:WU00:FS01:FahCore returned: INTERRUPTED (102 = 0x66) Hard to tell what is killing the process, but since a user on Discord reported that his FAHClient.exe ...

Re: Please fix the completely broken stats page!
FAH makes the distinction, but the stats pages are not crucial enough for the exceedingly small team of developers. All the more as there is already a very well done third party website devoted to this task: https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ If you have been folding for a while already (a fe...

Re: Lower PPD with several projects
[...] I'll check total system consumption once I reboot the next time (may take a while) to put the savings on the GPU in a better perspective. However, since I also fold on the CPU (55W Power(pack) difference to idle), this will become a tad more complicated BUT also shifts the calculation towards...

Re: BSOD then FAH won't start
I suspect the problem was either the config.xml file or the nVidia driver.... I did a driver update (I was only one version behind) and then uninstalled FAH including delete data. After a reinstall, and reboot, I'm back up and running. CPU temp is 62C at 100%, and GPU 71C. I've been Folding for 5 m...

Re: Fatal Error with WU
Thanks for the log file, uyaem. I have notified the researcher about this. FYI, I personally use this: <next-unit-percentage v='100'/> Since I don't want to wait for 1% of the WU to be over before starting the downloaded WU. Thus, I do gain a tiny amount of points :) Maybe I shouldn't be asking thi...

Re: Fatal Error with WU
I had the same failure on the same project, but the 2nd line isn't present. Should it be on default log level? On the upside, the client discards the WU very quickly, so I'd guess it will be available to another user soon. For the sake of completeness, here's my log (Translation of "Der Prozess...
