Do the machines that have the strongest specs receive work before the weaker ones, when it comes to GPU work units? Bcz I almost never get any GPU. I've got a 1060 and a 1070.

I did order a cable from Aliexpress that claims to be for my brand and model of PSU. It's 6pin on one end and 6+2 on the other. I'll plug the 6 end into one of the 6-hole -modular ports of the PSU, and the 6+2 into the card, and ignore the Y-cable.

OK she's running full steam ahead now. Even the blasted gpu. It's the first gpu I've had folding in my life. Pardon me a moment while I dab my eyes.

nvm it started folding, but fahcontrol wasn't registering the activity, so I rebooted without exiting the fahclient. Now its trying to recover, and saying that it crashed.

I did that earlier and it did not enable folding, actually. It's in the fourth post in this thread. However I'll try it again and post the log here.

Is there an entire folder I copy? Just one file?

I connected the non-folder to the same wired network the folder was on, and disabled the local fw and AV, no improvement. I've restored the fw and AV.
