Re: F@H Discord Server

Is there a room in the discord channel for dev/sdk related chat? Like anybody trying to use the API etc. to create their own tools etc. ?

Folding power for GPU

I see that by changing the folding power between light, medium, full, the number of CPU threads/core used change. But I do not see anything change in the GPU on the user interface. Does that slider affect the GPU utilization too?

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

Another interesting feature which may be considered might be to have a conditional point based "finish" implemented. E.g. Automatically "finish", if today's points => X. So maybe I want to limit how long is my machine working. Instead of monitoring myself, I can then set it so th...

Re: slow slots vs fast slots

I think it's also possible for 1 username to have multiple passkeys, and to search the credits based on the passkeys, but I might be wrong. Should be possible if you use different email addresses to request passkeys for the same user. I had to change my username initially, and even though I had the...

Are you saying that the same machine, user and passkey can join more than one teams? That is what I was suggesting. If this is already possible, then that is cool!

Re: slow slots vs fast slots

Wishlist: There should be a way to join multiple teams :) This will help a lot in different tracking goals... e.g. one main team similar to current team, but then, perhaps in my home I would have split faster machines in one team and slower machines in different teams to see how they are performing,...

Re: slow slots vs fast slots

ok, but with the same username and passkey... my gaming laptop's CPU slot almost always completes and uploads at full speed and uninterrupted.... on the other hand one of my laptop is my daughters, and she may turn it off and turn on next day...which means that laptop would be completing and sending...

slow slots vs fast slots

I have 4 laptops at home which are folding. I have set the same userid, passkey and team for all these laptops. One of my laptop is a gaming laptop, with has a fast CPU and RTX 2060, and hence has a much higher PPD. The other laptops are relatively slower. If my gaming laptop's CPU slot has 33000 PP...

Re: Failed to send error

If it helps, the FAHControl screen says assigned 4/11, timeout 4/12, expiration 4/18 ... so the expiry date has not passed. Not sure what this timeout date means though.

Failed to send error

One of my laptop is stuck at "Failed to send results" error for CPU job. I am not completely sure if the WU got processed after the deadline time. If the WU gets processed after the deadline time, does this error come? If so, will it go away by itself? Currently the client is retrying repe...

Re: Client machine temperature

@foldy, does it allow us to see temp of individual CPU, GPU across multiple machines? I will explore it then. Even if it does, I am using HFM.NET to consolidate my folding machines, and view/manage from a single dashboard, so it will be great if while viewing the status of my various slots and clien...
