Re: PPD Bonus Scheme

As I see it, the main issue with the PPD system is that we are fast approaching the curve often known as the hockey-stick end, where small improvements in speed result in massive PPD increases. We were, in fact, heading towards that hockey-stick curve long before the Bonus Points system came into e...

Re: Where is this going?

I'm with Grandpa on this one. I am not bothered loosing my spot in the rankings to people running smp clients on more core's then I'm able to donate. I can't run more then smp:4 which isn't going to make big dents. Since gpu clients do not have the QRB in effect, that smp:4 is still my biggest produ...

Re: i need program to gtx560 for folding

If you want to fold with a gtx 560 and FAH client V7 (I didn't tested it with v6) you will need probably the old 285.62 WHQL driver from nvidia. Current drivers like it to crash :-( I saw this yesterday but didn't reply since I was really tired and afraid to make a stupid comment, but are you sure ...

Re: FAHWatch7

I registered a new domain and am setting up cms now, I am looking for alpha/beta testers with enough interest to test and report/suggest things before making newer public releases. Those who already pm'd me or send me an email will get an invite, if you have not done so yet now would be a good time....

Re: FAHWatch7

I had some local issues to sort out, they seem to be all fixed so I'll be sending some more pm's to people who showed interest either later today or tomorrow.

Re: Count(ess) of Wus, February 2012

I'll have this functionality ready in the next public release of FAHWatch, people who want to participate could use it to check their eue count for any period. In V7, Ticket #837 (accepted enhancement) is scheduled for Milestone: Public Release. Sorry if I am to focused on my own project, I knew pe...

Re: Count(ess) of Wus, February 2012

Overall I'm at 1866wu's in the db, 55 failed which gives 97.08% sausages uhm success rate  I'm thinking of adding more features, like the ability to check failed work units against an online source for known issues ( like the nvidia's wu's, certain drivers and powersaving ). But I've got enough...

Re: Count(ess) of Wus, February 2012

Napoleon, you're deducting failed wu's but not deducting them from everyone? I have about 30 failed work unit's ( 92% success rate over past month or so ).

Re: Folding and HP Cloud Service

The email to beta testers on February 13th requested that memory usage be reduced "as soon as possible". Only abusers of the service would still be running large instances at the time of toTOW's first post. I remembered hearing something before, but it was really unclear what he was sayin...

Re: Folding and HP Cloud Service

HP is also reducing the resources allowed to their beta tester on February, 27th. If you are running folding clients on the cloud, please exit it nicely with –oneunit flag so that the FAH project won’t suffer from WU losses before terminating your instances. Well you have to admit this wasn't that ...

sorry for messing up te image link btw, but glad it worked. As I said, didn't really do the trick for me ( though it helped a lot ).
