Re: Slow internet speeds to 171.64.65.124 [was A4 core]
Another example of slow transfer ... the long delay for the last 2% or so and the 20 minutes total to upload suggests to me that the server has some serious connection problems. Then the unit gets dumped. Could it be that there are error in the transfer rather than the processing that are responsibl...

Improbable stats ...
Is there anywhere I can check my ranking as far as mobile folding is concerned? The app I've got on my phone seems to imply that the 10 top folders have all contributed over 10 years worth (each), the top 4 over 100 years each and the top 2 over 400 years each. This seems a more than little over the...

Re: Apparant Windows 10 (home 64 bit) problem
I'm already leaving the 8th core for the GPU (and most of the time it fully utilises it). Hardware acceleration appears to be off.
It's the fact that the change is recent that leaves me quite as puzzled as I am.

Re: Apparant Windows 10 (home 64 bit) problem
I'm not sure what I can supply that would help. As I said what I've found is that the number of switches on Core_a4.exe (running utilizing 7 cores) seems more than a little on th high side at anything up to figures in excess of 100 KHz. I doubt that the log would help that much but here is the top e...

Apparant Windows 10 (home 64 bit) problem
In the last couple of weeks or so my system seems a lot slower (as in almost unusable) if I have folding switched on. It seems that the numbers of interrupts has gone through the roof to the point of sub ms intervals per cpu. Does anyone know what the cause might be? The CPU is an I7 running 7 threa...

Multiple Administrative Systems are offline until 8:00 am Tuesday July 28th while PeopleSoft undergoes planned changes. Re: Delay in points for completed units
I'm fully aware of the sequence of events it's just that the timing could be better. For some time now it appears that to be included in an update to the 3rd party files the unit needs to be completed at leas an hour before the update and sometimes 2 hours. BTW why can't one process update the times...

Re: Delay in points for completed units
What I was suggesting was that it might be a bug in the system but that I'm not sure and if it was I thought that my suggestion might be a fix.

Delay in points for completed units
It appears that the allocation of points for returned units is being delayed for one reason or another ATM. I'm finding that a unit completed at say 14:27Z is not included in my points total until the update at 15:05Z ie after the next update of the 3rd party files. If this is a persistent problem i...

See viewtopic.php?f=18&t=27033 (Problem uploading to 129.74.246.143). There are 81 posts there going back to last week about a problem with the server @ Notre Dame.

Re: Problem uploading to 129.74.246.143
In all fairness it should be noted that Notre Dame is in California and as such is operating in a timezone that's 8 hours behind GMT. I've been assuming it's the one in Indiana: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Notre_Dame (UTC-5 I think) Wrongly? I didn't realise there was one in Californ...

Re: Problem uploading to 129.74.246.143
In all fairness it should be noted that Notre Dame is in California and as such is operating in a timezone that's 8 hours behind GMT. It's still not yet 6 am there so they have had only 1 weekday to solve this but that should have been enough (unless it's caused by equipment failure which is always ...
