Re: Active Server Rejection
It wouldn't be related to viewtopic.php?f=18&t=27033 (Problem uploading to 129.74.246.143) by any chance? BTW the designated collection server (0.0.0.0 in this case indicating that there isn't one) is a backup position ... units are normally returned to the work server and only if that fails is ...

Stats not updated for 12 hrs
Last stats update on my info page was just after 3am GMT today ... it's now nearly 4pm and it's not because I've not completed any units since 3am ... I have in fact completed 4 small ones.

Re: Is it just me or are the Stats not updating?
It would be nice for someone from Stanford to give us an update... It's been more than 24 hours since the outage started. Someone must have noticed ? Is there a holiday in CA, for no one to be "in the office" ? 11th Nov is the anniversary of the armistice which ended the fighting of the f...

Re: Daily stats update timed 15:00
I don't think you'll get the answer you're looking for from and Admin/Pande. The servers at Stanford start processing the stats on a regular schedule. One part of that update creates files that can be downloaded by those who run 3rd party stats sites. Each 3rd party stat site creates their own meth...

Re: Daily stats update timed 15:00
It appears that the 6am PST update at Stanford takes 2-3 hours(may only be 2 but that takes things into the next update) and as a result the flat files for the 3rd party stats are not being created in time for them to be picked up by kakao and o/c for their stats. That's creating the zeroes for eve...

Re: Daily stats update timed 15:00
Which stats are you looking at? I use EOC, which updates every 3 hours. The official Stanford stats update every 2 hours. You'll have blank spots from this. I usually see a big zero at noon and midnight, Eastern Daylight Time. It gets caught up the next update. The stats get updated every 2 hours a...

Daily stats update timed 15:00
The appears to be a problem here ... with the file showing no update from the noon GMT update (actual time of file might be slightly earlier). By that I mean that the noon and 15:00 GMT update show no differences.
It's not just a one off ... it seems to happen almost every day.

Stats update time
I know it's been said that the current update regime is not permanent ... but would it not make sense to do the update so that the data in the next three hourly data files is as up to date as it can be? The current cycle has the update starting just after the file is generated so that the next set o...

Suggestion for stats files
At present the stats files have the time they are generated on their first line ... 00:00, 03:00 etc (Pacific local time ... PLT hereafter). With the files being generated every three hours ... and the source for the update being run every two this means that the data in the file is alternatly almos...

Site redirection bug ...
I have a shortcut set up for the group stats ... if I reduce this to the web site ... when for example I want to come here ... I get redirected to a new URL 3 times (!!!) before with the 4th I get to a useable page. This is a bug#design flaw I think. You should be able to replace the first two pages...

Stats update suggestions.
1) It would make some sense IMHO to change the page shown when you try to access the stats during an update so that there is a link to the stats home page on it ... there isn't at the moment. 2) If hourly updates of the database can not be achieved due to taking so long would it not be possible to r...

Updates for third party update files unbalanced
It looks as if the updates of the info that is used to suply the information that goes into the third party update files is being done every 2 hours. The reason that I say this is that for some time now the odd updates (1am, 7am, 1pm and 7pm GMT) have added on average half as much work as the even o...
