Re: Missing Points - Project: 2494 (Run 144, Clone 25, Gen 7
Many thanks sortofageek. This isn't the first time I've thought there were missing points, just the most visible due to its size in the mix. I'm sure they'll find it next week, and hopefully any others missed in the process for everyone.

Missing Points - Project: 2494 (Run 144, Clone 25, Gen 7)
Seems in all the ups and downs this past week, I lost some points and WUs. One I know of is as follows: [09:31:03] Connecting to http://assign2.stanford.edu:80/ [09:31:03] Posted data. [09:31:03] Initial: 41AB; - Successful: assigned to (171.65.103.160). [09:31:03] + News From Folding@Home: Welcome ...

Thanks, sortofageek - I'll put them up there.sortofageek wrote:The database shows no data back on Project: 2494 (Run 144, Clone 25, Gen 7). The best place to ask this type of question is in the Issues With Specific WU Forum accompanied by the relevant logs.

Re: 171.64.65.62 Reject Mode & 171.67.108.25 Status 503
Thanks for the update, bruce - all seems OK now except for missing points.
Had Proj. 2494 (R144 C25 G7) go up on 11/11 for 905 Points, but it doesn't show in my totals. How can I verify that? Thanks for your help.

Server Down _Again_ Re: 171.64.65.62
Seems someone walked by and kicked the server at 07:15PST. That held it up for a little more than 1 Hour, before it cratered again. Can someone find the Problem in this server, instead of just dusting off the symptom, please? This Server has had problems for the last four to six months, and its bac...

171.64.65.62 Reject Mode & 171.67.108.25 Status 503
Have two systems trying to send back completed WUs - both show the same info. Status sheet shows 171.64.65.62 is in Reject mode; 171.67.108.25 overloaded. Noted to give Pande Group a heads-up for the morning. [07:00:01] + Attempting to send results [November 12 07:00:01 UTC] [07:00:01] - Reading fil...

Re: 171.64.65.62
I tried flipping the -advmethods flag but never got it to pick up another WU-server from the Assign server. Could it be that this is the only one issuing WUs for these platforms/clients? I also see no one has stopped by from either Pande Group or the Mods; unusual as they usually pick up on these ty...

Re: 171.64.65.62
I wonder if this backup could be because of Windows Systray clients not being able to do ProtoMol WU's anymore. So more people doing more of the same type of WU's that all go back to fewer servers. One of my CPU clients that finished is also waiting for this server. Are all of your clients systray ...

Re: 171.64.65.62
Also getting repetitive 503's for the past four hours - won't upload to WS or CS (no record there) or download. Other servers give an OK in the Browser; this one doesn't with either Port 8080 or 80.

Re: I hope this is the correct area?
This happens because there are two servers involved in giving out a WU. The collections server and the actual working server. Here the collection server gave you a WU but then went down before actually transferring that information to the working server. Just to make it clear for all - the Collecti...

129.74.85.15 No Response / Not Accepting
This server has been down since Monday July 12, 2010 - 21:05:10. The Collection Server has no record of it, so until it's repaired any completed WUs will stay in the queue. Can you let someone know, please? Thanks. [16:58:03] Completed 160000 out of 500000 steps (32 percent) [17:13:03] Timered check...

Re: Description error?
Thanks for the response Vijay, but the Description links on the Project list are still unavailable from my system. I'll repower my system later tonight (and grab a new IP) to see if that resolves it for me. Cheers.

Re: Description error?
Could you please report which link you were using (eg which FAH web page sent you to this page)? Thanks. I hit the Project Summary link at the top of the page, and was directed to the following: This http url has been turned off due to overuse. Please do not query our cgi-bin web pages with scripts...
