Downloading at 99% completion is the default setting for the v7 client. You have to use the flag to set it to something else, range usable is 90-100%
Thanks for the info. My memory had it backwards thinking 100% was the default.

Re: Fahcore_23 v8.0.3 project:17116 run:5 clone:470 gen:0 core:0x23 Hangs at 100%
I've seen 17116 and core 23 on all 4 of my machines now. 3 running win 10 and 1 linux mint with a mix of rtx 3070 and 3070ti's. The tests run fine here but all the machines are downloading the next WU at 99% without the -next-unit-percentage flag set. Is this a change?

A plea thats probably been made before.
Hi folks; I'm here to plea, probably not for the forums first time, for standardized points per hour for any given type of video card. Right now I have 2 identical cards folding 2 different tasks. One earning 3.23 Mill ppd and the other 5.07 mill ppd. To put it nicely ...nonsense. The same card. The...

Scheduling v8 start and stop
Hi folks
I was wondering if the v8 software had the pause, unpause, and finish commands in it like the v7 does. I use the windows task scheduler in Win 10 and crontab in linux to start and stop folding. I can't see these commands in the help file. Thanks.

Graphic problem with the client and Firefox on Mint 21.1
Hi Folks; I'm using the beta version 8.1.11 on Linux Mint 21.1 with Firefox 109.0. The client runs just fine but the icons for the setting page and the log do not appear. I can access then directly by typing but no icons. Mint 21 gets it's versions of firefox directly through the update manager and ...

Hi folks; The new core download is roughly 166 meg in size. No problem for most, but with satellite internet and limited bandwidth downloading it 4 times takes up more than 1 days average allowance. My question is can I copy the folder to my other windows machines and save downloading multiple times...

Re: WS 140.163.4.200 No Upload possible
It's still having problems I'm afraid. I'm sure for most folders uploading multiple times just mean things take a bit longer. For me, and the others like me with a data limit, uploading 5 times instead of 1 means 2 WU"S I'll never be able to start. The bandwidth for them is gone. I hope it gets...

Re: failure to upload 206.223.170.146
Its been 24 attempts now to upload for me. Out of curiosity, should a second server fail, as the gpu continues to fold, will it save both tasks or is one lost?

Re: A possible problem with the ububtu version 7.6.13
I ran 2 more sessions to get fresh logs and learned I was creating my own problem. I hit finish in the middle and watched the window switch to ready as it completed. At this point I was intervening and manually pausing it. Since I wanted to log the error I let it go and after uploading is complete t...

Joe-H thank you for the reply. I'll quote (with emphasis) my previous post. "I watched this morning as my win 7 machine went from FINISHING to ready to download before i thought to pause it." I use the advanced control on all 3 systems...Linux (Ubuntu) win7 and win10. I've seen all 3 syste...

Re: A possible problem with the ububtu version 7.6.13
Thank you Folks for the help; The project is 11764, the download was 87.67 meg. The problem is, of course that now the upload will be similar. I watched this morning as my win 7 machine went from finishing to ready to download before i thought to pause it. I'd already set the start download option (...

A possible problem with the ububtu version 7.6.13
Hi folks; My internet is satellite so I fold on monthly data limits. I set the max-packet-size to 10 thinking more small jobs gave me flexibility. It's busy downloading 88 meg. Do any of the configuration choices work? Finish doesn't on win 7 or 10. I realize you have more folders than tasks right n...

completed task wont send
Hi folks. I have a completed task that wont send. It gets to 1.84 %, oddly the time I hit finish in FAHControl, and fails. I'll paste some of the log. 08:31:36:WU00:FS01:0x22:Completed 1980000 out of 2000000 steps (99%) 08:35:12:WU00:FS01:0x22:Completed 2000000 out of 2000000 steps (100%) 08:35:16:W...
