Re: 130.237.232.237

Kill it and rename (or remove) machinedependent.dat (make sure you don't have
unsent units in queue before you do that tho).

It did help me. Must have been a server b0rk.

Re: Langouste -- WU upload/download de-coupler (+upload capp

LOL. Then we'll make Langouste support V7... one OS at a time :D What would live be without challenges? (slightly intoxicated) Cheers! tear EDIT: (less intoxicated) post scriptum AFAICS rwh202 is running Linux so trickle should work juuust fine. Besides, I am quite confident there are native Windows...

Re: Langouste -- WU upload/download de-coupler (+upload capp

Arrgh. Sorry, you've just made me realize I was mistaken. Got confused and thought you were talking about another tool of mine -- The Kraken . Per project's statements, 6.x client is going to be maintained with adepts in mind so I wouldn't worry about it being decommissioned any time soon. To answer...

Re: 130.237.232.237

Seems to be same unit as reported here -- viewtopic.php?f=18&t=20523#p204530 I'll remove machinedependent.dat. Probably a "BAD WU" ? We have a forum where you can report a potentially bad WU and there are no reports in that forum. You've now reported it twice but the reports are burie...

Re: 130.237.232.237

Edit by Bruce: Moved this post to the proper forum. There's still something funky w/that server. One of my machines picked a unit up w/o issue. Another one picked a small WU which was tagged as P6903 (FahCore, instead of starting, leaks memory until all memory is exhausted). . . . Seems to be same ...

Project: 6903 (Run 5, Clone 23, Gen 7)

I picked a small WU which was tagged as P6903 (FahCore, instead of starting, leaks memory until all memory is exhausted). Re: Langouste -- WU upload/download de-coupler (+upload capp

I haven't evaluated V7 compatibility in a while (it was performed back in the day -- hence coverage in the README). Is it an urgent need for you? Also, is it on Linux or Windows? If you have a spare system (and spare cycles as well) you could just try it (per documentation) and see what happens... A...

Re: 130.237.232.237

Yeah, it seems it's messed up. Retrieving a unit is impossible as well. [15:16:24] Loaded queue successfully. [15:16:24] Sent data [15:16:24] Connecting to http://130.237.232.237:8080/ I have also received a 1.6MB unit from that server several hours ago which was tagged as P6903 (definitely too smal...

Re: Langouste -- WU upload/download de-coupler (+upload capp

C.
Though now that I think of it, writing UI in C may not be the best idea (I use MingGW which
supports only Win32 API == no MFC or other conveniences).

Perhaps client-server model would be most appropriate with, say, .NET or wxWidgets client...

Re: Langouste -- WU upload/download de-coupler (+upload capp

On Windows, Langouste is a regular console application -- you need to keep the window open.

If there's enough interest I'll look into turning it into tray (but windowless) app...
