Re: some questions

Okay, I'm not sure on v7 on how to et things up, sorry. No, internet connection doesnt matter. I forgot to tell you, ppd is usually calculated by the last 3 % intervals, so if you are using the computer too, it'll slow down for that time. Seeing your active cores, that will be another reason you ewi...

Re: some questions

Welcome. 1st. Unfortunately, amd/ati gpu's aren't the greatest for folding, but they do work. I'd say though its not worth the power expenditure to run it with your x6. So i'd just run the smp. Note running any gpu, and amd/ati are the worse, use up cpu power, making the cpu client run slower. PPD s...

Re: How to monitor VirtualBox setup?

With Ubuntu you need to setup samba too, which can be a pain, though there is a good how to run ubuntu guide out in the interwebz that helped me a lot.

Re: How to monitor VirtualBox setup?

You need to set up sharing like Chelsea said, once you get that going you just point the hfm to it via the setup share name from vbox, or the 192 ip address.

Re: 128.143.199.96:8080

Hello,

I've now run into issues uploading to this server twice now. A reboot solves the upload and it continues on for weeks happily.

Not sure if its my ubuntu, like on the first page, or just a burp.

Re: How to get FAH workunits that use alot of RAM

I've got 12Gigs anddoing 6904s and it doesn't come close to 6Gig.

Folding isn't big on ram usage.

Re: I think my folding is broke :(

For the record, the units don't all use 100% gpu.

There are now units that only use 65%ish gpu.

You have no control over what you get, some days yyou get choice units, and other days you get crap units.

Re: TPF is WAY long

Have you checked if it is runnimng 3d clocks?

Get something like gpu-z and check the monitoring tab, and ensure the cards running full clocks.

How hot is it? If its not 60C or more its in 2d.

Re: 100% CPU usage... recommended?

You need to maintain your temperature under the recommended Tmax as per Intel/amd specs.

Other than temp, cpus are fine running 100%

Yha, its definately 2d clocks, as b99% gpu sand 34C is rediculously cool.

Even after burner will report your clock speed, it should be like 800/1000
