Re: Change in BA requirements

So why can bigadv be changed and their systems relegated to less than have their former work, but an intel c2d is still getting the same work now as it did 3 years ago? I understand making things bigger and better, but these units were meant to be run on corporate and server farms. I'm not an expert...

Re: Change in BA requirements

Screw a roadmap, just setup wu that fill the gap between 2/4 and 32 cores. I'm sure that it'd be beneficial to research that explores systems larger than smp but not as complex as BS units. Given server equipment isn't readily overvclocked there's probably tons of hardware idle that could do 12 requ...

Re: Do these PPD seem low to you

You need to also add the work unit number. Different wu run different times.

My i7y 950@4.0Ghz has a good 10K ppd difference from best to worst units.

Re: 171.67.108.60 Full/not accepting

Hmm, whcich verbosity is like the old 9 in v6?

The eason I switched to 5 was I find lacking in v7 logs are dates. As in the date it d/ls or uploads. So was hoping verb 5 gave more info.

Re: 171.67.108.60 Full/not accepting

Oh yha I have verbosity 5 to get all the info incase there is an issue.

I had not seen that before and it came up right after the reject/accept so I decided to see if it was an issue.

I did after rebooting, but it sat there doing that, and didn't want to get a ddos ban.

Re: FahCore_a4 and SMP on a Linux Box

You need to set the process/folding level to "Full" By default it is set at low or moderate.. or whatever it is, which runs at n-1, so for you, 2 cores -1 = 1 core.

Its a slider in nthe windows version.

Oh oh..

See in your config it says power = medium... it needs to be full.

Re: Constant waiting for idle for GPU on medium

How do I get it to fold even when not idle?

I want it to fold 24/7 even with me using it.

Edit never mind, I see you's have really changed it, and have a folding level... Switching to full did it.

Re: 128.143.231.201:8080/

That explains a lot, my unit started uploading at 4:15 est and just chugged for a while, then ran into issuse till my post above at 7:09 est.

I didn't trace route it, but i had ping'd it, and was getting over 100ms per ping, and it usuallys under 20ms
