See Edit above. It is the capitalisation that is the issue. However, my username on both F@H itself and this forum should be all lower case. The Capitalised form that produces the correct certificate is actually not correct!

Re: phpbb3 technical issues
Tried clearing the cache. 1) New access to certificate page still shows 0 points 2) My link above still shows zero points 3) Your link (AFAICT to the same page!) shows correctly :e?: :eo There's a nightmare for the bughunters. Results seem to be the same in IE. EDIT: Just read your last line, the ca...

Re: phpbb3 technical issues
Interesting. I've noticed the "0 points" certificate for a long time, but it doesn't worry me. However, I can confirm there is a problem. Try this: http://fah-web2.stanford.edu/awards/cached-certs/cert.davidcoton.19020934.jpg If it looks right, then I have the jpg image -- I'll post it in ...

See http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 15#p236737 for a fix.
I fixed my system by deleting unitinfo.txt and queue.dat -- workfolder was already empty.

Re: Failed to get assignment: Empty work server assignment [
Brought my Ubuntu/Wine GPU(550Ti) back on line yesterday. It got one unit, processed and returned, then no more. Restarted it, but still stuck. I know this is an unsupported config (HINT to PG: provide a supported way of using GPUs on Linux [ducks and runs]) but it doesn't look like a client-side er...

7646 (Run 1, Clone 0, Gen 4) upload
At least two servers seem to time out at 15min. 14.02MiB with my (typical UK) ADSL upload speed will need at least 45min 21:11:52:WU02:FS00:Sending unit results: id:02 state:SEND error:OK project:7646 run:1 clone:0 gen:4 core:0xa4 unit:0x00000006664f2dcd4fa7fdbf3ae64ff6 21:11:52:WU02:FS00:Uploading ...

Re: Does FAH want help from older or non-dedicated machines?
Welcome to the forum, DrTeeth. I'm not sure what you mean by the multi-core and GPU using FaH clients have been written as if they are for dedicated machines The CPU/SMP cores run at low priority and almost always back off when interactive programs are running. A few users report problems but I have...

Re: 171.64.65.93
Just what speed is your aDSL provider giving you? Nominally, I'm getting a 1Mbps upload (good for UK ADSL, though things are improving). But on top of that there is contention with other users on the local loop, and I suspect some congestion further up. As you say, the raw sums do not indicate a pr...

Re: 171.64.65.93
TJ,
Thanks for sorting that. Both WUs now uploaded, taking 49 and 26 min. The slower time was with another concurrent upload.

Uploads are timing out after 15min. This is not adequate for 13+MB files on typical UK ADSL connections, which only get to 25-40% in that time. Projects 7642 and 7644 currently trying to upload -sample filtered log below. (1 of 25 attempts between 2 WUs) 13:49:40:WU02:FS01:Sending unit results: id:0...

Re: Nvidia 296.10 WHQL drivers fail
The monitor is always set to turn off after 15 minutes, but I think the failure occurred after that, maybe right at the end of the work unit, From your log, the failure is right at the start of a WU. See http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=20891&p=209119&hilit=295#p209065 for a...

Re: Project 7505 (0,2,19) upload fails
Here's some more info about upload time. The results file is >41MB (typo in original email). My average upload speed is 6kB/s. So the upload time will be around 7000 seconds -- almost 2 hours. Timeouts are occurring at either 15 or 45 minutes, consistently. I am fairly sure this is the server timeou...

Re: Project 7505 (0,2,19) upload fails
Sorry for omitting the info -- forgot this was not on the v7 beta forum! This is on Linux 64-bit version 6.34. I have seen at least one 45-minute timeout on 128.143.199.97, it looks as if even that is not long enough (if time is the real issue). I don't think there is anything at my end that would c...
