It depends. If you're running out of memory, your PPD will decrease because your OS will resort to swapping. If folding doesn't exhaust your supply of RAM, adding more won't really do much.

No luck on VBox 3.0.0 b2 either... It all ends with CoreStatus FF.

Edit: notfred didn't work well with VBox either (VBox supports vmdk files). Same error message: CoreStatus FF

I don't know how it is with Virtualbox, but with VMWare Workstation, you can run a 64 bits guest on a 32 bits host 8-) I hope the VBox community gets that bug fixed by the final release before I have to return to Vista 32...
