Thanks for replying!
It seems it was enough to just terminate the paused client in the console window.
FAHControl immediately connected to the remaining background client.
This I could send a "finish" command.

On a side note you also could renice the FahCore_a process.
Something like

Code: Select all

renice 19 -p $(pgrep FahCore_a)
would give it lowest priority.
