Re: GPU p9201 stats issue.

Ok. Probably somehow related to the move of the project to a new work server. Just a heads up, I suppose, if anyone from the Pande Group happens to check here.

GPU p9201 stats issue.

Have not seen any posts yet, but I have noticed an issue with the QRB on p9201. If anyone from Pande Group wants to investigate I have noticed the problem appears to be with Gen 0 units. Sometimes full QRB is given, other times only base credit is given. I think this has happened once before. Attemp...

Re: Core 15 WUs

you got my post wrong : what i meant was that Project 8018 is maxwell exclusiv. ;) Only seems to be assigned for maxwell. All i asked for is a meassurement to see how much work is still to be done. They take more energy and time but they goive us less in return. Hard to speculate. See this thread f...

Always check Dr. Pande's blog for details, past and present. Lots of good information.

Check some benchmarks here. Not too promising. You can find related threads about folding on Atom processors, here, and here. Dated, but relevant.

Re: Empty work server assignment:

Looking at my three Mac Pros, the two 8 thread are getting units with client-type advanced and the one 16 thread with client-type advanced is having the issue. Could be that the core count setting is the problem for the AS.

Re: Project 8018 Core 15 so low PPD why?

:( My machines are back to all p8018's. They are all folding away, but it doesn't make me happy. I definitely feel your pain from that angle (10 GPUs running), but it still beats having to babysit BA machines to be sure they don't get stuck trying to download faulty "512 units" ad nauseum...

Re: 128.143.231.201 (BA) acting up?

I was told that a problem with bad WUs was fixed a few hours ago. Have you rebooted/reset everything and let the client start fresh? After that, if the problem persists, let us know. The server 128.143.231.201 has very few WUs. Shouldn't you be redirected to another BA server? Not fixed. Units are ...

Yes. It appears to be fixed, for now. Last attempt for my six GPUs was 45 minutes ago. Back to space heating.

Re: Is the server down?

Looks like it may be fixed, for now. All six of my GPU clients just downloaded new units. Last attempt had been 45 minutes ago. YMMV.

Opps it appears you left one out let me help you out there. http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=2079048 Thank you. And I missed this one . Interestingly, nothing at ASUS ROG, however. I do try to spend some reading and posting time with those that are not just #1 and #2 on the points list, so I may ha...

Did not need to, really, since all of the looking for a "shiny badge of honor" members (i.e. PS - I might get banned) were in those two threads on those two particular forums. How one acts on their home forum is usually indicative of how one acts on a neutral help forum. Point of fact: Th...

It is interesting that you did not include a link to the largest threads out there about the bigadv smp problem, why is that? Did not need to, really, since all of the looking for a "shiny badge of honor" members (i.e. PS - I might get banned) were in those two threads on those two partic...

P.S: I might be BANNED from this forum... :D :D It is unfortunate, that seems to be the goal of several in this thread. I am quite certain that personal respect, professionalism, sound arguments, and sensible discussion will gain an appropriate reply in due time. The rest is just distracting noise .

Re: Change in BA requirements

This would be a good case for moderator intervention, in that the recent posts solely discussing what moderators might/might not have done are entirely unrelated to the original topic and should be split into a separate topic. Good point. So, why don't we keep the discussion about change in BA requ...
