Re: Potentially issues for work units for project 124xx
My 4GB Raspberry Pi4 has just been given WU 12447 (5,9,10). The computer is currently expecting to finish in 6 days but has been given a limit of 3.6 days to complete the task. There seems to be little point in wasting this time ...

Re: How to setup a headless F@H machine (V8.3.5)
Thanks, I got it working, but I'm still confused about the config.xml file. Does V8 support all the V7 options, or should the config.xml file basically be blank?
Also, for Raspberry Pi OS, apt install /<directory>/fah-client_8.3.5_arm64.deb worked.

How to setup a headless F@H machine (V8.3.5)
What exactly does one need to do, to setup a headless Folding@Home machine, running the V8.3.5 Beta software? I've installed V8.3.5 on a Raspberry Pi, but it's not folding (based on CPU frequency). Prior to installing it, I deleted the folding slot (under V7.6.21), so config.xml doesn't have ...

clGetPlatformIDs() returned -1001
I've been trying to get V8.1.18 to work on a Raspberry Pi 4 running Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm. It's a remote server running headless, but all it does it error with: ``` pi@folding ~> fah-client -v 16:14:08:I1:*********************** Folding@home ...

Re: FAH 8.18 Not downloading any work for Raspberry Pi
I emailed the dev. Nice to see someone trying Asahi. I’m still waiting for Asahi to go to fedora, myself. Yeah I typically use Fedora for its bleeding edge support, so Asahi kinda makes more sense anyway in that context. Seeing as I've always used KDE as my desktop, there's not really any benefit t...

My M1 mini is happily folding still.
Maybe you have an old cores directory in your backups?

Re: FAH 8.18 Not downloading any work for Raspberry Pi
Same problem on my Mac Mini running Asahi Linux. Works fine in v7, but this error in v8.
Pretty sure I had it working on 8.1.11 months back. Seems to be a server-side issue (kinda obvious from the error message) as neither 8.1.11 or 8.1.18 works now.

WU 18490 is exceeding the timeout of 2 days, on my Raspberry Pi hardware. It's taking about 2 days and 20 hours for the Pi's to complete these WUs. WU 18491 is exceeding the timeout of 2 days, on my Raspberry Pi hardware. It's taking about 3 days ...

Re: WU's 19421 exceed timeout on a Rasperry Pi
The minimum Raspberry pi is version 4. If you are on a lower version, it is unsupported. Jimbo, had you looked at my Hardware configuration, you would have noticed that I have 10 BCM2711 processors. The Raspberry Pi 4 is the only ...
