Re: FahProgress: A micro monitoring tool for win
But unfortunately the size of the tooltip is limited by windows to 64/128 chars and gets truncated: http://img367.imageshack.us/img367/8194/fahprogress008tray1wg8.png Hmm, that's strange. I have other programs which seem to use more space in the tooltip than you suggest. Here's F@HSpy's tooltip: ht...

Re: prion - folding stats & info
Works ok now!
Started the program with this command-line:
C:\FAH\prion>"c:\program files\pygtk\python\pythonw.exe" prion.py
I was able to make it work then.
What's the purpose of the giant button with a (prion?) molecule on it ?
When I press it, nothing seems to happen.

Re: prion - folding stats & info
Thanks! It's *almost* working now. The Prion window has opened, but the Python console says: (python.exe:3812): libglade-WARNING **: unknown property `program_name' for class `GtkAboutDialog' Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\FAH\prion\prion.py", line 105, in show_about self.abou...

Re: prion - folding stats & info

Re: prion - folding stats & info
Hi.
Forgive my ignorance, but I've download this code and saved it.
I then installed the pygtk package, which includes Python, on Windows XP.
I'm not trying to run it but it doesn't work.
Do I need to edit something?
Can it run on a Windows platform?
Best regards,
François

Re: FahProgress: A micro monitoring tool for win
Thanks!
The % display from the systray doesn't seem to get updated.
I had the reopen (get the client back to the desktop) to get the % updated.
Best,
François

Re: FahProgress: A micro monitoring tool for win
Nice!
Is there a way to minimize it?
An option to minimize it in the systray would be great!
Being able to rename the client to something else than Cx would be great too.
Best regards,
François

Re: Time Cycle Mechanism
Hi uncle_fungus! A question about the cycling of the ETA style: Should this generally also have influence on the displayed time in the Work Unit Information panel on the right? I'm asking, because in most cases only the ETA time in the client list is cycled, but in a quite special situation also th...

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
You shouldn't copy the mo file into the FahMon folder. It relies on being in the correct 'lang' folder. You can probably get it to work by renaming the 'fr_FR' lang folder to 'fr_CA' Bingo, U_F! :D Thanks for the new official release! Now, here's the stupid question: Do you think it would be possib...

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
The french translation doesn't show up, Uncle_fungus.
The appropriate fahmon.mo file was copied in the same directory as fahmon.exe.
This is true with all three betas.
BTW, with the beta3, the crash with the new projects download seems to have been solved.
Best regards,
François

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
I had those crash problems on two computers today.
Don't know what project it was though.
It happened when the program was getting the database update.

François
