Same here on my 980's... as do the other Core_21's except the 96xx series, but I suppose PG have a lot more Bad State stats to look at than we have!

I don't think all Core_21s have been blocked from Maxwell-2 cards without a client-type defined, only the newer ones that have been causing trouble.

Do you consider a "bad-state" severe if it's recoverable from the last checkpoint? If it then runs to the end, no. If there are routinely so many bad states (possibly only on certain cards) that the WUs abort after an arbitrary three then yes. If the parenthesised comment is true then tho...

an overclock is an overclock, whether by the factory or by the user is irrelevant. remove the overclocks to fold core_21. That sounds like a good scheme to encourage donors to use their GPU idle time for folding when they're not gaming. I think you (and PG) are forgetting the reason most people buy...
