Did that solve the problem? If so, good. If not, please see my previous.

Re: new donor, don't know where to start
Please post your log if you need help with the configuration. In Advanced Control, Log tab, press Refresh then Copy, and post here in Code tags.
You cannot change the log time (UTC), since that would make it much harder for people here to determine what happened when in sequence with server events.

Re: Questions.
Welcome, Mike. May I suggest that you do some research before asking questions? I don't know about the captcha, but it hasn't put off many of the 20x increase in donors over the last couple of weeks. It has been explained several times that to add COVID-19 to the cause list would require a new clien...

Re: Did I just learn a difficult lesson with usernames/passk
Yes, check that the expected completion is beyond the expiry, if so dump it. It's WU01 in the log, so pause that, go to /var/lib/fahclient/work, and delete the directory 01.
I've notified the Project Manager.

Re: No WUs available for CPU, unless I restart FAH
The relevant thread count is what will actually fold. Multiples of prime numbers over 5 give problems, multiples of 5 don't work on all projects. So you want to set a count that will work. 16 would be good, but one thread is reserved to feed the GPU, so maximum 15 are available for CPU folding. If t...

Re: Why is only one graphic card folding, CPU is idle?
@bruce Are @webmaximus's slots not configured immediately after those messages? If not configured, why are they trying to get work?
If the problem is persisting, try restarting F@H (a reboot of the whole system may be the quickest and cleanest way).

Do other WUs work? Can you post a full log (Advanced Control, Refresh before Copy)?

Re: Sending failed with WU/Project 11751
The team are aware of this problem, I have no visibility of work in progress to fix it, but it is quite important because it is probably causing a lot of unnecessary upload traffic. I will enquire whether this is a case for dumping the WU. Could you post the date and time of the first time you got t...

Re: "FAHClient.exe - Bad Image" Errors
Looks like the wrong version nv driver. I would delete the two named dlls, then re-install the drivers, ensuring you get the right version from nVidia's website.

Re: Automate low+working and high+idle loads by time?
It can be done (I don't know the details), but have you tried leaving the settings high? CPU folding runs at low priority so it should not interfere with normal use. GPU is a different matter, but that is not affected by settings anyway.

Well, it was not totally unreasonable -- it's always difficult to remember all the bits that need looking at before reaching a conclusion.

Re: FAH infrastructure failed to load clients with payload W
To add to the point, a new client will not go into test while there is so much really urgent work to process (there is no spare test resource, and a risk of breaking things), and all available programming effort will go into urgent server upgrades. The client is only doing what is has done for a lon...

Re: WU sent but didn’t show up in stats
Stats should be automatic, just that the links in the chain need to be configured and the servers kept healthy (mainly disk space). The workload is intense at present so some of these get delayed. Sorry about your "friendly competition" but the science is a priority, especially when fighti...

They are not paused after they are configured -- the errors shown cannot occur with paused slots, they won't try to download when paused.Neil-B wrote:The top of the log shows the CPU slot and one of the GPU slots PAUSED ... haven't checked the rest of the log but you might want to check those slot aren't paused
