I didn't say I intend to fold on such low end GPUs. I'll be using them for graphics on some i7 systems (Sandy Bridge and later) I'll be running wcg on until I get newer cards.

I would suggest not wasting your time on buying GT730 GPUs. They often go for ridiculous $90 prices, when $120 gets you a GTX1060, which has over 3x the performance. Thanks for the replies. I decided to stick with a GT 730 and a couple of 720s for graphics on my wcg systems until I can afford GPUs capable of folding.

Not a good idea to have no antivirus app on a PC connected to the internet, especially if you download software

Thanks. Guess I'll put a GT 730 in the test system and just run wcg on the CPU until I get another later GPU. Or leave it until I can afford a recent GPU.

I have a GTX 580 lying around doing nothing. Is it able to fold in Windows 10 x64? Don't want to waste my time setting up a system with it if it's no longer supported.

I usually find with that error that the wu has uploaded, but the server has not replied. It will keep trying, but I get the points after the first attempt.

Some work units save your progress after every 5%, others are at 2%. Most won't revert to the last checkpoint unless you reboot, but I have seen this before. Not sure why pausing without rebooting sometimes does this, but I don't thing most do.

In some cases, the wu is uploaded, but the server is not responding. In those cases, you get the points for the first upload, but fahcontrol does not know. I notice it most for project 18202.
