Re: PRGC 10496 impossible to finish

... Jobs that push GPUs to the limit should have rational ETAs that can complete before their expiration date and pay a premium in PPD. ... I would agree with that if the issue weren't your card. You're using a card that had it's own next generation more than double it's processing power. While I d...

It did not work for me. Windows 10 Build 14986 (Insider Preview) with GTX 1080.
Given that so many things on your OS are beta and a mess, that's likely. :P

Never even noticed that it had a switch parameter, thanks.

Any chance of...

A way to throttle uploads (so that they don't eat 100% of up speed)?
List headers that are sortable?
An option that completely does away with the web control?

I'm a lot OCD; I have 3 monitors; and I, literally, have 1 monitor open at all times for nothing but keeping an eye on my mining/folding. :e?:

Re: Advise on new machine

From the pictures I've seen of that rig, a 1070 "should" fit (given the slots are below the drive bays). That being said, if you're truly making it a dedicated miner/folder, I'd offer 2 suggestions: 1) Do the fan mod or lay it down and leave the top (formerly left side) open 2) Forget abou...

Re: WARNING ! Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers.

376.33 is working for me. I'm running 2 GTX 1080 FEs yielding ~140k ppd Something badly wrong anyway if you're only getting 140kppd from a GTX 1080 as it's what I'd expect if I slightly overclocked my GTX 950. A GTX 1080 should be giving three times that. Using 373.06, I get 600-700k PPD with 1 GTX...

Re: A Few Random Questions

Could you give me a example of a pre y2k crypto? I'm just interested to know, as I didn't think any of the early digital currencies were based on cryptography Off the top of my head, Bit Gold (not to be confused with Bitgold) was ~1998, but Chaum had written the witepaper for "Blind Signatures...

Re: A Few Random Questions

Well, I might be wrong as it's not really an area i'm that interested in - but I believe what your thinking of are part of a larger group known as digital currency. These have been around since the mid 90's in various forms. Specifically though, cryptocurrency is a newer form of digital currency, a...
