Re: Project: 11278 (Run 1, Clone 26, Gen 0)

The WU completed last night. Here are the log results. I got a whopping 209 points for this one. Not bad for a Gromacs WU! http://fc07.deviantart.com/images3/i/2004/146/9/1/Two_thumbs_up.gif It took a while because there was two interruptions during the running of the WU one of which was a several h...

The new WU is currently at 32%, I am keeping a close eye on it. I will report back the results. Hopefully completion to 100%

Re: Curious, why are points so important to some?

I too have often wondered why folks seem to be obsessed in points. Especially those who are getting tens of thousands of points per day. I am not all that convinced that it's all about efficiency and/or the science. If it truly is, then why quibble over a few points? I fold on two machines right now...

Re: Linux HFM.NET-monitoring remote boxen

I am running 100% Linux, Slackware to be specific, both 64-bit and 32-bit versions. I am running HFM.NET on my Slackware64 machine and use it to monitor four other folding machines. I use NFS.

Re: FahMon problem (absolute noob apologetic already)

Perfectly. :D Well it is definitely permissions that is causing the problems with FahMon. The owner and group permissions are OK. The problem lies in the group, which is currently nogroup.
