Re: Did I just learn a difficult lesson with usernames/passk

1 The passkey is locked to the email address, IIRC. I believe you can change username keeping the passkey (but have not tried myself). 2 Dumping is not generally available and is strongly discouraged. Please post your log (from Advanced Control, Refresh before Copy) in Code tags here so someone can ...

Re: FAH for Raspbian/Raspberry?

Pi are mainly mains powered -- 95% or more. ARM chips don't get nearly as hot as AMD/Intel -- partly because they are not so powerful! Pi4B (newest, quickest) uses under 15W including peripherals!

Re: FAH infrastructure failed to load clients with payload W

1) If your servers can't answer to all clients with new WU, then did you ask any of cloud engines (Google, MS, etc.) to temporary get a part of their storage space and connection servers infrastructure??? Does all of them against mankind, so human made company against themselves so they will not sh...

Sorry for the late reply … @WebMaximus that is one of the standard messages when the servers are flat out.

Re: What really happens when you delete a WU?

You may be right. I don't know exactly how WORK_QUIT is handled by the server. Dumping by any means is discouraged, but sometimes it is necessary.

Re: WU sent but didn’t show up in stats

viewtopic.php?f=86&t=33193#p317298, not specifically stats but take that with my first post above. Folding life is busy, why would you expect researchers to take time from the science to post pointless (pun intended) messages? BTW, I am an internal F@H tester (don't ask), so I do have access to ...

Re: FAH for Raspbian/Raspberry?

The problem is bigger than just recompiling to a Pi-friendly ARM code. Pis have used FOUR different processors in eight years. Anything written for Pi may have a limited life. Every re-write of the science code needs to be validated by the researchers. So even given the availability of a RPi core an...

Re: First time folder - GTX 1080 ti PPD

PPD varies a bit between projects, as drivers and cores are updated, and with the exact hardware version you have. You would need to go through all those details (and possibly others) between your system and Paragon's to find an explanation.

Re: Stats Page (Broken? Slow to Update?)

The stats system is not behaving properly at present. Have patience, it will be fixed eventually (lower priority than things affecting the science). Experience suggests points will not be lost, only delayed.
