Hopefully someone can notify the appropriate PG member about this.

It seems you're not alone: viewtopic.php?f=88&t=25219

You can always check the project number in the Project Summary, which is linked at the top of the forums.

Re: New web site

You might want to temporarily change the Linux install guide so it doesn't list AMD GPUs as being supported. I know there's the bolded statement a little ways down saying the drivers are causing them to not be supported, but it can be interpreted as conflicting information.

Re: Running out of WU for core 17?

client-type:advanced seems to give a mixture of core 17 WUs and 8018's. From what I've seen and read, they tend to come in bunches, so you'll get a lot of core 17's in a row, then nothing but 8018's for a while, then back to core 17's, etc. Not much you can do about it.

Whatever you linked to didn't show up, probably because there are restrictions on new users to combat spammers.

If possible, paste the contents of the log file in code tags, which you can find in the Full Editor. Make sure to include the System section at the top of the log.

Re: Not getting core 17 WU's

I've seen several people observe that a slot tends to stick with the same work server for a few days, then start getting work from a different one for a few days, etc. I've definitely seen it on my end, where my GPUs will get nothing but project 8900's for a while, then go to nothing but 7810/7811, ...

Re: Driver 331.58 PPD double low

This was first seen in the 331.40 beta drivers, where all Keplers except those based on GK110 (780, Titan) have a massive PPD hit. Others have reported the same behavior with this new set.

Re: Nvidia Driver Tuned for Running Folding@Home?

I don't believe there's a set of drivers that maximizes folding. As to why, there's likely not enough money in that to make it worthwhile. Based on the current stats, there's around 22,000 active Nvidia cards. That's a drop in the bucket compared to the number of cards sold to gamers. Having employe...

Re: 36 hour tdr bug resolved in linux

Others have reported a 10% drop in performance for non-780/Titan cards. That may improve in future releases, but some people are sticking with the older drivers, and still rebooting once a day. Time will tell. I think those seeing a 10% drop were running Fermis or rather low-end Keplers. People run...

Re: Finding my points

Is this you? If it's not, click on the Official stats link at the top of the page and search for the username you entered into the client. The sum total of all the points you've folded under that name appears at the top, with a team-by-team breakdown underneath.

Re: Not getting credit ?

Are you running v6 or v7? v7 saves many old log files in /var/lib/fahclient/logs/. If I recall correctly v6 saves one old log file in the directory where the client, config, etc. was.

And I see huge potential for that abuse, and I see signs that it's happening, and may be ongoing. ... I think you need to take a serious look at this, because I'm fairly sure it's happening right now. I think you should actually show us some of these signs if you want anyone to take this accusation...

Re: FAH settingss for a user with a download cap

Here's some comparison figures for data usage: The largest data-usage client I have is my bigadv-grade server (32 Intel cores, way more powerful than what this friend has, and she can't get this type of work). It's usually able to complete two bigadv WUs per day, with each WU having a download size ...

Re: Is there a way to merge points received?

Is it possible to change the team of which a username is a member? And if it is, do accrued points stay with the old team or follow it to the new one? Yes, just open up the configuration of the client and change the team number. Accrued points stay with whatever team with which they were earned.
