Re: Please add Nvidia Quadro CMP-30HX

I have no idea what OS you are using, but if it is Windows , then gpuz will list your Device ID so it can be added to the white list.

Items 6 to 8 show how to post a log of your folding setup, usually to first 150 lines have your configuration info and are the most interesting.

Re: GPU disabled, no opencl library found (Linux)

Here is instructions on how to post a log so we know what the software thinks is happening.

Usually the first 100 lines is enough to see the configuration.

Re: Advice regarding a dual 4080 setup for folding

Just a thought, if you plan to replace every single part, it would be cheaper and faster to have two PCs, one GPU each.

Re: RTX 3090 not folding on light power

Assuming you are on Windows and using version 7.6, you can get to to Advanced Control and configure, slots, cpu and set it to 0 if you want,, then the GPU slot will be the only one that runs and set the main screen to Full.

Re: RTX 3090 not folding on light power

Welcome to Filding@Home! In the default configuration, that is the way F@H works in version 7. Light uses 1/2 the CPU threads and no GPU. Medium used all but one CPU thread and the GPU. Full uses all CPU threads and the GPU. In all cases the GPU is either on or off, there is no way to reduce GPU usa...

You have a modern, but niche GPU. It may fold similar to the more common RTX 3070ti.

If you set CPUs to 2 you may get smaller projects you can finish on time

This appears to be a mobile CPU that does modern math. (AVX2-256) with only 2 cores and 4 threads. I would watch CPU temps as a laptop may have listed cooling.

Re: NVIDIA DGX question

You start 8 slots of GPUs. (Assuming you have 8 x86-64 CPU cores)

It is possible you will be the first, and need to give device IDs to F@H to whitelist. In Linux, the lspci command can show the device ID.
